"Passed my audition" as a guest artist at the Santa Barbara Bushwick Book Club last month and was invited to be a regular. This time, Arturo Tello, Laura Hemenway, Dennis Russell, Mark Walker, Susan Marie Reeves, Mike Cregan, Dan Phillips, and I will share a round of songs inspired by Carl Hiaasen's satirical romp of a novel Star Island as well as a round of other originals. Potluck at 6 PM, book discussion with audience at 6:30, music at 7 PM.
